About Slang Recordings…
Slang is a type of language consisting of words and phrases restricted to a particular context or group of people; the jargon between a particular class. But for us, it’s not limited to just spoken language — discovering your style in music is just as conceptually tricky and takes years of practice and persistence.
Slang Recordings was created by Aaron Schexneider and Thomas Coomes and was built on the fascination and love for sound. It was meant as a way to record ourselves and our friends to the best of our ability because we love making records. Discovering our way of making music — our slang — has been a fun endeavor and we’re still growing. In the meantime, we’d love to discover new ways of collaborating with other artists on their recordings or sound for their film.
